What Is Everyone's Jobs And Age?

25, Senoir Airman in the USAF, stationed at Dyess AFB, Abilene, TX. I've been a C-130(cargo plane w/ 4 prop engines) loadmaster ( guy who loads the cargo and passnegers and flies with them; glorified flight stuart) for about 6 years now. I hate it and want to got into a communications careerfield. Hopefully on Wednesday I'll get a phone call saying that I made Staff Sargeant ( about a $150 a month pay raise). This will make it easier to pay for my new engine, turbo, trans, and ignition. I like to post here, race my car ( when it's running), and hang out with the guys here and at Gotham Racing.

I'm 20, and a full time student at the University of Toledo about to start my 3rd year in Mechanical Engineering. I transfered there from Kettering University after I got my co-op job at Dana so I can save money on bills and be with my girlfriend. Before working at Dana in the Mechanical Testing department, I worked at Edison Industrial Systems Center testing cutting fluids and cutting bits, and before that I worked at Wolfe Manufactoring as a Machinist for almost 2 years.

lots of mechanical engineers here
personally, i'm hoping to go into something automotive related, or work on desiging ag/construction equipment with case, john deer, CAT, CNH, or soemthing like that. honduh or ford would be cool, but it's too cold up north and too far away from texas.

I'd like to do something Automotive as well, which is why I'm working at Dana, but after I graduate I'd like to open up my own shop.

Interesting how many of us want to open our own shop.. that's always been my dream. I may go to a tech school for auto mechanics now since I have free time. I'm sick of the corporate world.. it's unhealthy.

Sounds promising but I am not moving to Canada. Too cold!!
Timing is bad. I need 18-24 months and my mortgage is gone. Actually I will be entirely debt free. Then I will save a whole bunch. Then I will look into a new line of work. Alot of this depends on my employees and their willingness to step up and also being honest. If they dick me around I will just shut down the shop and move on.
I have always toyed with opening a speed shop. We have one in town here and the owners are a-holes.

Ie warehouse. And everyone who wants to sell apexi or enkei in Canada has to come to me and get it from me. Unless they want to import on their own from japan.
