23 year old flight student at Spartan. Was in civil engineering for 5 years before this.

Forgot Jim and I had the survey thing in common. I took my state exam last year, and sometime during that period of time decided i'd rather be flying planes.

Its 1:45 in the morning here and here I am looking at my computer because I cannot sleep. Stressing over work, employees, etc...



I hate Land Surveying and want out. BUT it is a very good living. So my plan is to pay off the mortgage then save up and start some other business that does not have all the liability.

Builder calls me today. The form board crew put the boards down wrong. I staked the house location and envelope as requested. I even did a form board location survey showing them exactly the configuration of the boards. The builder feels its my fault.



I told him that I did not put the boards down wrong and he needs to talk to his form crew. I gave them a survey showing the boards. WTF do they want me to do?? Their job??



I did nothing wrong and they try to blame me. No one steps up and says hey, I screwed up its my fault anymore. Everyone just points fingers.

21 years old 4th year Engineering Physics student at Queen's Univesrity in Kingston, ontario Canada.



Currently working for Ontario Power Generation as a Nuclear Safety Analyst/Engineer.



Past employment were 2 summer's worth of Nuclear Design Engineering.



Have been doing nuclear related engineering for past 3 summers now.



I hate it.



Pay is good. Hence i drive a 89 TII and only work 4 months out of the year and have money to pay for mods, fuel, insurance, rent, food, and beer, text books, expensive dinners with hot dates and a bit of tunition as well.
