Snow gathered on the ground here last in '89. It technically snows pretty much every year, just melts when it hits the ground, and only goes for like 30 minutes.



We never use the heater, I just hope we have enough wood to carry us through.

we get either sleet or sticky rain.Thats the worst cause its middle ground and ugly.

We did get a snow job 3 years ago.

Yea. Good point. In the summer down there, you don't want to be outside just as badly as you don't want to up here in the winter time. It gets too cold at times here, and it gets too damn hot down there. At least when it's cold, there are things to do in the snow.



And winter storms are probably our worst weather conditions up here. No hurricanes, tornado's, earthquakes...we've never had to board up our house or leave it for a storm. when it snows, just stay indoors and play MGS3 :P

We've got over a foot of accumulation here, with nearly another foot expected before the weekend. Usually there's no snow staying on the ground before Christmas.
