No, i think i could get into Gen D when i first signed up (altho my first posts were about trying to get my 7 running in 2nd Gen, so im not completely sure cause I didnt try)

its a recent thing

 

ok a weedwhacker runs at like a million rpm, but all it does is spin a piece of string, or at most a saw blade, around.



there's no weight, if you put any real resistance against it it stops instantly.



they arent strong motors, there only job is to spin fast so they have no real power just speed, im thinking you could probably prevent a weedwhacker from spinning with your hand if you could grab it, plus those things are carbed, how you gonna get a carb to work right on rollerblades? unless you use an electric one but....

I think a skate board would work better. Put a fifth wheel sticking out the back just to push it.



I'd use a chainsaw though and just modify the sprocket to put a bicycle chain on it.

 

I thought I saw this on mythbusters or something. The preferred method was to put the motor on some sort of backpack, and use a flexible cable-drive thingy (not sure what it's called, like in the dremel flexi-arm thing) down to the roller blades or skateboard. This way you could use any motor you could carry on your back.

 

I was going to build a mini chopper out of a bicycle and a chainsaw. still might one day. I have access to any kind of small engine I need and all the parts...
