That sucks.

About 10 years ago I got hit with snowball and had a road cinder stuck in my eye. I went to the Er and they put this huge contact lense type thing that had water running through it to wash out my eye. Then they put some drop in that turned my eye from brown to bright green so they could see if I had anything left in my eye. Glued my eye shut and gave me an eye patch and sent me home. Had to wear the patch till the next day, when i finally got to see an eye doctor.

lol, I just had somthing in my eye last weekend, just not metal. I build SIP houses that have the foam between sheets of osb and a piece of foam stuck to me and found its way into my bed. Come 2am my eye is burning and all watery. I finally got it out the next day in the shower, but it had irritated my inner eye lid and it felt like I had flash burn for like 3 days.

I hope I never meet the eye drill... especially if the doctor has the sneezes...

Thats funny. When my sister use to raise pugs, a couple of them had problems with their eyes and she had to put drops in them that would make them turn bright green. Just think how funny looking a pug is with neon green eyes, snorting and jumping around.

I got a fiberglass shard lodged in my eye.

Weird thing is, i was working with glass the night before with no problems.

Then the next day i was sitting in class, blinked, and the shard grabbed and lodged in deep under the bottom eyelid.

went to the eyedoctor where he pulled the sonofabitch out with tweezers!

I got the eyeball dye and all, it was nasty.

My dad was in our woods the other day, bent over and got a stick in the eyeball. Scratched his cornea, got the dye, and got to wear an eyepatch for a few days.

If I lost an eye I'd wear a pirate's eye-patch.
