We are fortunate to have some pretty nice roads in Virginia. I long ago lived, and have more recently driven in New Jersey, and there are some incredibly fucked up old crumbling concrete roads half patched up and full of damn holes that would take six or seven bowling ***** to fill up. And once in New York, I recall a stretch of highway, with 55 MPH speed limit, that had damn speed bumps on it. No ****.

I have one busted Tein I have to send in to get repaired, there is a stretch of road down by the beach, no ramps on or off so its wide open, 15 years ago I used to go 150+mph on my Zx-11 it was so nice and deserted.

Now that road is like a washboard, last time I drove there with my V8 car messing with my friends Porsche we both had to slow down because we thought our cars were going to get busted up.

Weird to hear you say that, Vancouver is nothing but silky smooth asphalt. I personally can't stand driving south of the border because as soon as I get past customs, I hear this obnoxious whirring sound and feel this constant vibration in my butt. It's not that the roads are bumpy, they're just as flat as up here, but the concrete they make even major highways out of is so rough. Maybe it's a conspiracy to increase tire sales in the US and reduce road costs :P
Its cuz you're getting the olympics in 2 years.. ... I dunno whats wrong here, we are the wealthiest Province in Canada, and our roads are probably the worst along with Saskatchewans... They always try to blame it on frost heaves, but even a month after a new road is put in, it will have ripples, sunken sections, transitions where they put down new pavement, then dug it up 3 days later etc etc..I think the reality is that the government really let standards slide to get cheap bids from road contractors.

I have been hesitant to get a real race seat, I think here with coilovers I would for sure develop piles. Maybe if Lazyboy makes a race seat , it would work.

thats how our roads are, but we dont even have frost! its just shoddy workmanship.

the japanese suspension style setup only really works in japan. on bumpy roads you need it higher and softer, which on an FC is actually ok, because the suspension geometry is better higher.

we just got a tire pyrometer, and we bring an FC to the track, but havent gotten around to dialing it in.

Thing is, we've had nice roads for at least a decade as far as I can remember. It's because we voted the NDP in and since they don't know the meaning of "budget" they spent money like crazy even while BC's economy tanked. Plus you might be the richest province in Canada, but Vancouver is by far the richest city. Byproduct of that: people complain if they are hitting potholes in their Gallardos. This is the only place I know of where there's as much Italian sheetmetal on the roads as there is Porsches...I love this place

Every road here is bad. I can't imagine how it's going to be after this winter. It's september and the potholes are still in full bloom. I think they forgot to fix them or something.
