Question

Guys calm down.

If they do a new 7 it would be so badass it wouldn't even be funny.

If you dont belive me then get a look at the new Miatas.

Pretty ******* sweet if ya ask me.

Mazda invented the damn thing. I think they can keep from screwing it up.. :bigthumg:

Im not mad it is just a personal opinion that I hold. I didn't expect anybody else here to agree with me. My reason it mostly because I was going to buy a 300ZXtt before my seven. When the new one came out I was so dissapointed. I expected so much more. But with all the emissions laws and cost of gas and things of that nature cars like the z and 7 are a thing of the past. Turbos are only getting smaller. And NA sports cars are whats in demand. The disountinued the seven because it as too expensive. In our society what makes us think people can afford $40,000 fun cars. And that is how much they are going to cost without a doubt. If the Fds cost $32k back in the day. If they do make it like they said they would then it will be an awesome car. But it will probably be like the NSX and only owned by people with money...

That's not exactly true saying a new 7 would be a NSX type car. The 7 line was made to be a cheap super car that every one could afford. They will find a way to keep the price down loe enough. The problem is i fell it could never live up to a FD if they do keep the price down. On the other hand why shouldent mazda have a NSX type super car? A rotary engine super car the likes of the NSX, Ferries, and Lambos would be cool as hell, at least that's what i think.

They discountinued the RX7 because of dropping sales numbers..

Also I am one of the people with money so I hope that they make it.. :smirk:

yeah the fd sold less in the us than the first 6 months of production in 78 of the 1st gen, so you can see why they didnt spend the $$ to make it obd2 for 96

That RX-3 looks hot.

Damn I wish I had an FD...I guess I could always settle for an FE(?).

I definitely think Mazda is aiming to please, they have a very large reputation with the FD to live up to, you know?
