Thus the need to remove all the handicaps placed on rotary powered cars. If the FWD cars get anti-wheelie bars, why cant RWD cars have rotaries?! Pistons are a handicap arent they?

God some people are just ignorant. A 9.96 all motor is insane no matter how you look at it. Maybe they should do a little research on people's cars before they start posting "Padilla didn't impress me when he smoked my guy's Honda." They probably don't even know his car's built the way it is.

Yeah, FWD is so much safer than FWD, instead of getting oversteer or anythin glike that in FWD you get massive understeer and go in an uncontrollable straight line in whatever direction you were going when you lost control...so safe...

those are not FWD cars...
I didn't say they were FWD, I said the engine was over the drive wheels.

I'm not saying FWD is perfect...but they sure do clean up in import drag racing.

Not to take anything away from Padilla, but he has been doing the same thing for 2-3 years, with a 3 and now a 2 rotor, not anything new or impressive.

so being forced to switch from a 3 rotor to a 2 rotor and still winning isnt impressive?

People always resent and fear what they don't understand.

Jason has my vote. Making a FWD car run 9's consistently with no wheelie bar is no small feat. I don't like Rotories and doing 9's in a RWD is not as difficult. Honda power all the way.

LOL, so being that it wasnt difficult to run 9's in a rotary with all the handicaps placed on it, and actually win and make sponsors happy is no consiquence to honda owners who do it just so they can prove that no matter what they do, they will never EVER be faster than a RWD rotary car and they are fine with it. Rotaries will win, be in 1st place, while hondas will have their little niche at the bottom....you know, since it takes more effort to lose?
