it might just be a computer, but with these appications and hardware we are more able to see exactly what our computers are doing, helps in trouble shooting or catching problems befor they boil to a head. The reason i got the cpu fan to begin with is because the cpu would over heat and shut down, well with the pc probe it would only let the cpu get so hot and shut it down befor any damage was done, so with out this program i would be ordering a new processor to go alont with the new fan... see how it helps?

Im OC'ing this **** soon, its like a car, gotta watch the gauges to make sure nothing goes wrong.



That temps are in celcius and MBM5 is motherboard monitor 5. Nice prog. Can do lots of other ways to display temps, voltages, fan rpms everything.

I messed with overclocking, i got my AMD Athlon xp 1800 (1.5 GHZ) to 2.0 ghz, it ran way to hot tho and didn't notice any diffrance in speed, probably because it was running to hot...

These northwood P4's overclock great. Theres plenty of people at 2.4gh from 1.6 or 1.8 with the stock HSF.



Im thinking 2.4 or more once i get my as3 set in and everything.

Thanks, my w2k decided to take a **** when i tried it lke 2 days ago. I've been doing a fresh install and reloading up stuff for most of the day.
