I have one on my 2200 XP proc. Pretty nice, I never use the mult speed dealio.

I have a volcano 7+ on my p4 right now. I used the speed changer thingy so i could sleep seeing as my PC is about a foot away from my head. The speed changer thingy just broke so now its full speed only.



I think their both similar?

My ASUS mother board supports variable cpu fan speeds, i have this program that came with the board, these people don't mess around!! The fan pluges directly in to the mother board and all the other stuff is built on the board...







I can plug in the power supply and case fans if i'd like but i just have to many fams to plug in as you can see....

Heres where my temps show, 1st is cpu, 2nd is MB, 3rd is cpu load/usage.
