looking for a good program i can use to edit my videos.

Got a Panasonic Pv-GS15 digi camcorder from my g/f for christmas and I want to see what kind of software there is to edit my videos,.

I'm looking for a program that allows you to do a lot of things, not the plain old crap like the "wipe screen" and ****, mainly since thats built into my camcorder, but also cause its gay, im looking for like artistic ****.

kevin.

i've tinkered with premere some, used pinnacle and am using vegas video.

I kindof prefer vegas video to premier. It seems to be just as powerful, but is very user friendly. I really need to mess with premier more to be able to tell you for sure.

Adobe Premiere is awesome but its difficult to use. It would take a good 2-5 hours of just playing with features and reading help files to make a really really good video. Adobe Premiere just has so many damn functions and abilities.

Buy a Mac and get Final Cut Pro . That setup will only set you back like $2500-$3k

I've used that Dazzle ****, I hate it. Windows Movie Maker was great for the simple stuff though.
