It wasn't anything special. All the bolt ons, street port, full exhaust ect.... Ran an apexi turbo for a while, then a garret 62-1, both with a haltech I tuned myself. 11:1 air/fuel and 15 degrees timing in full boost.

Not always. I spent a good deal of money on this car thus far, and the shell wasn't cheap by any means. I just got fucked, period. Oh well, live and learn.

its an fd, you can either spend the 5k at once and have a pretty reliable car, or you can let it nickle and dime you and have something unreliable, either way you're gonna spend the same $, theres just no way around it

the whole reason I went for a shell then an engine was because I wanted to get a good engine and not something someone already had done xx to :/ I should post how everything went from when I bought the car anyways, I should of just turned around and went back home but being a thousand some odd miles from your place for a couple days will throw judgement off a tad. Honestly if I could sell my shell and still get another bb touring MANUAL, i'd be quite happy.

Yea. Hence why I bought an FD with everything left stock, all original, except for maintenance items and reliability "power" mods.

I have a receipt for everything done on it, and will monitor all of its modifications with my OCD'd/Perfectionist self from here on in...

I wouldn't mind more power, but with an 80k lifespan left "Stock" I wasn't so sure what I should do. However, 9 times out of 10, those with crazy setups are leaving their cars untuned, or laugh at how it backfires/runs filthy rich yadda yadda....
