what car then? what im saying is this. a laser has to reflect back to the gun in order to tell speed. in an fc, or any other pointy car, the angles are going to make the laser reflect off towards the back of the car or to the ground thus not letting it back to the gun. at least that is what i think. i know that i have been hit a couple of times with laser and havent gotten a ticket when i should have, once was just the other day by the same cop that did give me a ticket when he lasered me in my bros chevelle which has a front plate, and i was going faster than that this time.

 

the thing with a good detector is that you can only speed. its not a cop blocker so you still have to obey all the other laws. a lot of people dont realize that. i could see that valentine might lower the price like 50 bucks for a group buy but not more than that i wouldnt think.

I don't have a front plate, so I'm not quite sure how the laser worked...but I knew what speed I was going and his reading definitely conveyed that. All I can fathom is that my bumper has a small flat section in the front, above my fog lights.

 

yeah the 3g eclipse is a lot flatter in the front than a 2g 7

 

The laws are probably really sketchy here too.
