I have an escort passport 8500. Everywhere I looked it was rated just as high as the Valentine, but about $100 cheaper

I sit in my car and laugh at the cops with my V-1. When I had my Passport I would curse at the cops because they would almost snag me. You have to have catlike reflexes with the passport. With the V-1 you have 3x to 4x more time before they will get you. In otherwords once you learn how sensitive it is you can speed a little longer before slowing down. Its almost like your toying with the cops.

Plus the V-1 tells you how many different sources are shooting you. Mazdadrifter witnesses a 2 cop radar dragnet going down the road. You would instinctively speed up after passing the cop with the radar only to find out a second one was following about 1/4 a mile behind.

I pointed to my V-1 and told Mazdadrifter, Look! 2 cop cars, my V-1 was showing 2 bogeys. Then came one cop and following behind like I said was the second waiting for the sucker.

I would never use any other detector.

I've heard a lot about the F40, I think that's what it's called. It's a radar detector and laser jammer in one.

I was caught by laser, I ******* hate it, so I will be purchasing a laser detector once I finish my project.

theres no gettin out of laser if your the target..

detection of other targeted vehicles is the key...

gives ya additional time to react..

otherwise.. very difficult to avoid instant on laser

v1 has laser detection both front and rear..

Laser detection is nothing more than a fancy name for something that is telling you your busted and about to get a ticket.

Laser jamming is the way to go.
