they are 245/40/18 in the front and 275/35/18 in the rear....however when i drove around tonight for about 10 mins i hit a bump and the rears hit fenders...so i have some work to do! What about your tire choices?

Awesome car, but I have to vote thumbs down on the rims...for this reason only.

because they are a good design, one of the best for optimizing the strength to weight ratio of any material.

the bending moments are the greatest at the center of the rim, so that part is thicker. good design

the "webbing" integrates triangulation, and triangles are the best design for structures since they cannot deform without deforming the sides.

as a result of the above, those style of rims are the best design for both lateral and longitudinal loading, optimizing stiffness and thus allowing a lower weight for a set strength.

I went with Pirelli PZero's, avail only in 225/40 and 255/35, but I'm sure they'll be sweeeeeet when I finally get this ccar moving under it's own power, lol

I took it apart 3 weeks ago for a ProfecB Spec2 and a Racelogic Traction Control unit and SS Midpipe, then broke my arm.. It's a friggin miracle I couls install those wheels and the hood. There's no way in hell I can finish all the little stuff that requires articulation of both wrists, though. lol

Ha, the only time I ever broke something was Snowboarding. I took out my right arm, left leg, left collar bone, and cracked like 5 ribs. It was a miracle that I'm still alive. Happened about 5 years ago, I haven't gotten back onto a board since.
