ok, so the v1 got to tyler (my town) a day late (thurs) so i call ups and say i need them to forward it next day air to where i am in minnesota, they say ok, but then shes like "and how were you wanting to pay for this?" then i say, "well i was under the impression that you guys would be paying for it since it was your company that screwed it up." she called me back after checking with her supervisor to let me know there would be no charge for the forward.







got a ticket on the way to mn, 81 in a 65 (the limit on the interstate in iowa). the officer was nice, knocked it down to 75 in a 65 and the ticket is only 43 bucks, and it doesnt go on my record bc its out of state!





on the way back with the v1 i was in iowa and it started giving a warning. it came on kind of slowly but went to almost full strength then went off. it had gotten too strong so i knew it was not a false alarm, especially since we were not by any thing other than corn and asphalt, so i slowed to the limit. at least 2 miles, maybe 3 later i see a crown vic ihp with someone pulled over and his radar turned off! 2 or 3 miles! why doesnt everyone have a v1?

Cause they could bolt the emmitter part of a radar gun to a highway sign every 20 miles and you'd spend all your time driving the speed limit?

or not and pass it off as a false alarm, but slow down as soon as the v1 shows that there are 2 radars.



seriously who is going to put a radar thingy on a highway sign... oh yeah, you live in canada.
