While we are at it, whats the purpose of spending all that money ona carbon fibre hood just to have it go to **** because you dont want to paint it, and I quote: "so everyone can see the exotic materials its constructed of". Not for nothing, I cant ( or rather dont want to ) afford a car like that, but Ill be dammed if I spend that kind of money on a carbon fibre hood and NOT paint it, so others can see its carbon fibre, thats just an example of someone doing something to thier car solely so others can ooh and ahh.
BRAVO, ur reading me mind, yeah i also noticed all those dumb tachs etc.

Are you talking about this Voodoo? If so, which of their ***** will fit an RX-7?

That car would almost have been bettered featured in Lowrider magazine. The DVD's were a little over kill if you ask me. After all your suppose to drive your Seven not watch movies in it! BTW whats the point of reducing the weight with the carbon fiber hood if you add it all back with an entertainment system like his? Oh well to each his own I guess.

Thumbs up

I don't think that guy was trying to reduce weight with the hood, just look cool, if he was just trying to reduce weight he would have probably painted the fugger!

At the compleation of the article, it said about his future plans for the car. I guess impound wasnt one of them, which is what I assume happened to it??? And I guess the local body shop didnt take credit cards either, lol, naaa- he just put the hood to look like he spent alot of money on it. About the *****- I was going to get a MOMO, and feedback told me they fell off alot, and several others with RX-7 commented on how nice the VOODOO ***** fit. I got mine right from the engraver guy though, I got the pearl with the clear powdercoat, RX-7 logo, and 5 speed pattern, it matches my new Auto Meter Carbon Fiber gauges nicely. Now to uncover the car and get this stuff in.

The threading is right for your shifter? You have a 2nd gen, correct?

I havent even threaded it on yet, again, Im going by what others with RX-7s told me, I was originally thinking of a MOMO ****, and they said they fell off, and a few people said the voodoo **** was good, considering it is for a Miata im sure it wont be a problem, and the engraver guy who sold it to me im sure would have told me before hand.
