anyone know a good forum site for diesel trucks? my ffriend just got a 04 with the cummins HO and is looking at chips, exhuasts, intakes, etc etc. and basic info

Yah the new Cummins puts out 610 ft/lbs of torque stock. A guy I work with in Mississippi has an 05 Thunder Road with the Bully Pup programmer on it, with the Crazy Larry setting and some intake/exhaust work he said he puts down 875-925 ft/lbs of torque. Impressive for a 5.9 I-6.

Me likeum power stroke!
Yanked the truck full of polished and stainless hardware, the trailer with the car, display cabinets and the works to southern cali with ease.
People warned about how bad the Grapevine was... shiiiit, the ol power stroke never missed a beat, 50 mph steady with the ac blastin, like that hill wasn't even there.

lol, I know nada about the turbo diesels other than click wait, click wait, go. I borrowed that rig, a '96 I think, and what a hooptie!
A quarter of a million miles on the odometer, running lights in the roof leaked, the steering wheel was 90 degrees off center, and it had some dated upgrade package with faded walnut everywhere on the interior.
I think it was one of those miracle rigs that no matter what kinda hell it went through it just wouldn't quit.
