Wink

Today was the funeral for an Ex-girlfriend of mine who died recently. I hadn't seen her for awhile and all I can say is I'm sorry I had not. I got to see her family and some friends from school which was cool, but man it really sucked. I remember for one of our homecoming dances we had dinner at a sushi bar! It was great, the first time I had ever had futomaki and sashimi. I have been hooked ever since and that was about 8 years ago. She totally introduced me to Asian culture; foods, language, styles. After we went our separate ways all the stuff that she had exposed me too became a huge part of my life. I studied Japanese in school, worked in Japan for a little while and eventually got my 4 year in Cultural studies taking every Anthro class about Asian culture offered. The past few years I had pondered about how much she had affected my life based on its present status and the direction it was in. I hoped to someday share what I had accomplished with her, but now it looks like I waited too long. Well sorry to depress everybody but I hadn't talked all day and really needed to get some **** off my chest.

W.B.W. RIP

Sorry to hear of your loss man....

I have had similar things happen so I know how ya feel (dont ya hate it when people say that?)

But She is not dead! She is in your heart and in your life almost everyday it sounds like. It sounds like she had a big impact on your life and a good impact at that! So let the memories live on! I am sure she would of been honored! But I am sorry for your loss.

Sorry not good with these kinds of things!
