its gend, there's never any topic, just a momentary lapse into "organized brainstorming" and that back into the realms of whatever.
we never really accomplish anything.

Yeah, I don't doubt that a lighter flywheel helps the engine rev faster, I just wonder if that will make up for the weaker launch at the dragstrip. Street performance is irrelevant in this case.
Well it bogs like a mother ******, I rev to 5-6k, slip the clutch, and it falls on it's face, but with more practice at the strip I will get better.

i have a feeling thats the majoirty of us lol. ive got 3 7's, one runs...the slowest and crappiest one.

my car right now jumps into gear once you let off the clutch, but its jerky and the noise coming through the drivetrain from the solid shifter and the flywheel/clutch combo gets on your nerves.
All my cars are running except for one--the '66 Chevy II, which is pretty much laying around my garage in pieces. I only have one RX-7, and it's fine, although I couldn't get it started last time I tried in this frickin' cold weather. But both daily drivers are fine, and so is the truck!
I would own more 7's, but my dear wife keeps me in line with her good sense. I would have kept the turbo Volvo too.
