you missed a small but important point..cause in your definition, they wouldn't be able to do prostitution stings.
they have to make it irresistable to not break the law. like if the cop said, I'd give you a million dollars to go 20 over...then you did it and he gave you a ticket for 20 over. then that would be entrapment
