Fix this aspect of yoru life instead. Regardless of what you end up doing with the car or any other car, correct this otherwise chances are you'll end up in the same situation thinking of selling the S13 to pay off bills.

G'luck with your decisions...
exactly.

if you cant control your spending and are willing to sacrifice your FD for it than that is kinda sad.

excersize some self control and keep the nice car.

I see what you all are saying, but there are four major expenses that could be eliminated by selling the FD and buying and S13.

1: Car payment

2: insurance

3: Discover Card

4: Visa Card

Now, if I remove all those, that leaves me a hefty chunk of change that would facilitate car-part buying habits. Hell, I could finally afford to put something into my 401k.

I'm putting it up for sale at an exorbinantly high 18.5k. if I get a buyer at that price, I'll sell it. if not, I'll see if I can work out my other problems.

Part of the 'other spending' is gas and commuting expenses. Visiting my folks and my girlfriend, who live across town from me and eachother.. It gets expensive. It's not like I'm buying Plasma TV's or anything.. I just eat out for lunch at work, and drive a lot.

I'd sell it and pay off your debt. I had to sell mine because I couldn't afford anything to break on it while i'm in school. So I sold it, bought a piece of **** mustang, cool mini pickup to work on, payed off the debt, and still had a nice chunk of change left over to fall back on. Makes life less stressfull.

Sounds good, I'm selling it.

I hate to do it, but I think I have no choice. I can't be living into the red all the time.

Sell it and pay down your debt. It's nice not to have any debt, took me a couple of years to have no CC balances. It was a sacrifice, but well worth it. The only debt I have now is my RX-8, which is alot cheaper than the $700 a month your paying on recurring debt. SELL IT!

sell it. a car is a car. period. stress is stress and that will ruin your life. the best day of my life was when i payed off my car, i hate payments and hate having balances. life is so much more enjoyable and much easier to deal with when those aren't in your life. do whats best for the long run, then a year or two down the road go buy another one if thats what you want... there will always be a deal out there.
