Question

Well guys, I'm at a crossroads here. I'm quickly running OUT of money each month. I'm considering selling the FD to compensate. I figure, if I can sell the FD for $18k locally, I'll have enough to pay down all my credit lines with the leftover cash. That basically means that I will reduce my recurring bills by as much as $700 per month. I hardly get any joy from the car, especially in the winter, because I'm never able to afford to work on it. Hell, it has parts on it from other board members that aren't even paid for totally! I'm thinking of getting out now while the car is flawless, and the motor is stronger than ****, to avoid otherwise inevitable costly problems in the future. The replacement project car would be a true project, and the original import hot-rod dream I held - A strawberry S13. While I can afford to own the FD, I can't seem to control my spending anywhere else in my life, and unfortunatly this is my single largest liability which puts it on the chopping block.

I need opinions here, fellas.

Ever time someone sells an FD, an Angel gets snipered by a Baretta .50 caliber sniper rifle...

Well, It will ba a sad day.

But if it's going to help you in the future I think you're choice has already been made.

Get a car you love, and have time and money to make it fun!

Just make sure you give your FD a good home.

I just can't help but think that I'll be able to provide a better life for myself without it.

No, see the point of selling is to pay off my CC's and buy a project in cash.

Sorry to here that you need to sell it. I'd be a whole lot better off without mine too but I just can't bring myself to sell it. Selling it my be the best thing for you though. This way you can get everything paid off and not have the stress of bills. Good luck!

That's what I'm hoping.. ****, I half-wish that my car would go out like Vosko's, just because then there wouldn't be a decision to make..
