If you want to be a mega-bucks rodder than GLASS is for you. I prefer the roots of rodding: Metal bodies, no billet parts, no mail order rods. Just like bikes: Where is the pride in bolting together a bunch of mail order parts? Anyone with a big-enough credit limit can do it or pay someone to do it. I am so tired of seeing all these KIT_RODS and CATOLOG BIKES it makes me puke!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd rather drive a rat-rod that looked like hell than be seen in some 20K+ KIT-ROD.

And ANYONE who finances fun is an idiot, credit limit doesn't apply when building anything except a home, pay cash to play or stay the **** home!
Furthermore the pride issue you are so animate about is why my projects come out the way they do, there's nothing kit about my rods or catalog about my bikes, I'm like BASF I don't make the products you buy, I make the products you buy BETTER

Maybe you should take your own advice and built your own trans and engine next time, maybe square away the credit issue while your at it...

We'll just have to agree to disagree on this one. I dont like fiber-rods, never have never will. As far as buying engines goes, I was buying PR's expertise (what a mistake).I do build my own now.
No matter how many coats of wonder-paint you put on a glass REPRO body its still fiberglass. Its like kissing your sister! EWWWWWW
