You might have to sand some enamel off.. I'm really still not sure what it is in the pic, so I'm taking stabs in the dark here.

kinda looks like the air flow meter guts from an s4.



the mercedes has a peice of thicker guage wire its coiled up, this is what the mazda senders look like too
