Oh and digging for dinosaurs...which is pretty much the same thing as drilling for oil only they put dinosaurs in museums and not gas tanks...for that youd have to wait another million years or so.

Because the gov't is constantly giving money to big business. Look how much they gave to gm for fuel cell research.

Didn't GM ultimately squander that money on research to make the Escalade even MORE attractive to NBA stars?

And now GM has to cut spending on everything they do...and than they QQ to the public....god I hate that company. They HAVE everything to actually make themselves do well they just...don't. Make the G8 as cheap as it is everywhere else and actually PUSH it with commercials that dont take place in the ******* country like they do with their trucks. PUSH the Astra, get rid of shitty 4 door saloons with no suspension and depreciate like mad (LeSabre and LeSabre related products) DO NOT cut back on engineering and production except on trucks...should have stopped making them like ******* hotcakes a couple years ago. Pay your workers less and expect more from them!! A production worker doesn't need 35 bucks/hour. If they strike? Fire them all!! It's not like you can't replace them with younger people willing to actually work for the money. Pay them 27/hour like Toyota or Honda does! They have to stop bending to the will of the public so readily and hastingly pushing **** out of their factory half-assed...
