Well the interesting thing is that he got you guys to talk about it. He got you to express your true feelings and own personal situations. I think it actually did some good for everybody *****ad and replied to his topic. I know it did me some good. It showed me that I'm not the only one with this problem. It also showed me that there are people out there that care and are willing to help if someone needs it. Sometimes you just have to look at the brighter side of a post like this. Yeah it hurts to see someone post a joke topic about something so crappy, but it helped others on this board to express thier feelings about life and how they handle it.

7mech, yeah well I've been through the samething.. quiet clear. I won't get into it on here, but personally, if you wanted to speak about it, I'd be willing, but not public.
To say you're gonna kill yourself, esp. on a message board is just asking for attention. He wouldn't be posting here if he wanted too. That and the fact since people posted about it, he hasn't said anything related to this thread, thus, ignoring it.
I believe it was a joke. Whether it is or wasn't, which I'm guessing it was - he is sick more than he thinks and does need the help. Joking about it is not cool, I don't care if he needed someone to talk to or not about depression. There are hell of alot different ways to go about talking to someone about being depressed than mentioning something ALOT MORE SERIOUS of killing yourself more than anything.

Yea, point taken, but if you want to get to know the members a little better, why not make a post that says "hey just wanted to get to know you" and post some **** about yourself in there.
My post would "Hey you useless bastards, I want to know if you are as big of a bunch of ******** in real life"
