Is it a requirement to have a Seven that you're depressed? I've been fighting that **** for years now, and I've thought about offing myself, but it never quite seems worth it to give everything up.

That is never an option, Its selfish, there are ppl who care and they are the ones you hurt when you go. Life is full of pot holes, not getting stuck in the ones you step in, and learing not to step in the same ones again, is the way to win the battle..

That's true, my friends once told me that I don't belong to myself, that I belong to the people who love me. That's really changed my outlook.

You know you have to be strong to kill yourself. It takes a lot of guts and strong will. If you are that strong however, you are more than strong enough to NOT to kill yourself and overcome your problems. Many people run away from their problems because they are too afraid to fail. But failing will ultimately make you better because humility makes you stronger. Think about those ***** mathafucka's who are all show and no go. They will never work hard because they are afraid of failing. So please don't take your own life, because you have a quality that others don't posses.

I agree with 89rag, suicide IS NOT and option. Unless you are Jesus Christ and are saving the world or something.

You know the REAL winners in life are not the people who have the most money, the most power, the happiest, or are the most popular. That is determined by luck, the stars, or God, whatever.

The true winners are the people who can endure the most hardships/ failures adversity/obstacles/prejudices/trials etc etc...

and then use those experiences to become stronger. Turn weaknesses into strengths.

Someday everyone realizes that without the misery, pain, struggle and rough spots in life. There is nothing to be happy, joyful, or excited about.

Be a survivor, it'll only make you stronger. Honestly, if you read about extremely sucessful people now, you'll find most had to overcome countless failures and setbacks to achieve their goals.

Just take one day at a time, realize nothing is so important to stress about, and look out for #1!

Bigtime, you philosopher. That is a pretty profound statement. I am impressed.

He is right though. it is the whole :yinyang: principal. You cannot have good without bad. It could be worse you know. Hang in there. There are people who love who will support you and see you through troubling times. Even the people here have stepped up to offer advice and support. And most of them probably do not even know you. It WILL be ok.

Stay alive. :bigthumg:

hey bud, never worth it!! sometimes I think myself into depression... in fact I'm sure we all do. Lift is tough but worth it... don't ever think you have no one that cares about you... and even if that were the case, **** EM! Its never selfish to sometimes put yourself above everyone else, you need to like yourself first bro. If you can't find a way to work it out, that is why there are professionals out there to help and even medication.

Take care.
