[quote name='Rob x-7' date='Oct 23 2002, 01:45 PM']I have one converter on my car, its not melted

Converters are all made of the same material inside, as long as it has a stainless casing, its fine for a rotory.

The new RX-8 has some special converter, I wonder how much they would clean the emissions of a older 7?
wonder how many thousand of dollars it wil cost?

At least $2,000

"Emissions are greatly improved by elimintation of the periphial ports and a ew catalyst that traps unburned hydro-carbons in a ZEOLITE or porous crystal-layer for later burn off"
