Driving home last night in my S5 GTu, I hit the brakes and all of the idiot light illuminated. At first, I thought the car had stalled for some reason, they usually only come on in that case. The motor was still running. The car is running fine, nothing different, but the lights continue to stay on. Anyone have this issue before?

brian.....ur cpu solder spots are probably dying out



ive heard it happens to a lot of FC idiot lights...mine do it all the time...they flahs a lot....people say to just take out the CPU thats next to the fuses at ur kick panel, suck out all the solder points and put in fresh solder again

 

 

all the lights comming on means your alt. is dead.

 

but flashing idiot lights means not?

 

if all the dash lights are flashing I'd say you have some weirdo electric problems
