I would love to walk into a dealership, order a base model car. Manual locks, windows, tranny, no a/c or abs, and the most powerful motor they can fit in it.

Hell they can keep the seats if they want i'll just pick up a set of recaro's with the money I could save not getting all the options.

You mean like the old Mopars with the straps for the windows, no cranks or anything!

Because your car with weird options you thought would be cool would cost more than having a fully loaded version.

I think the older generations of american cars allowed you to get power door locks but delete the power windows. Or have have moon roof, but no disc brakes.

Each time they have to retool the line they lose money. Meaning it will cost you more.

Personally I like the Mazdaspeed6 GT, black leather interior, white exterior, H&R lowering springs, mazdaspeed wheels...

I do dislike that many times to get the top of the line motor, you have to get stuff that really isn't necessary. Now, I'd say it's safe to say that 85% of the time, someone springing for the bigger/more powerful motor is probably interested in power windows, locks, etc. But having to get stupid stuff at the same time, like a moonroof, and seat heaters, stupid things, just serve to annoy me.
