Um, how reliable is stainless steel hose if it is being bended and you hear a little crunch? I'm replacing my oil cooler lines and was bending one into shape when I think I may have used a bit much force. Should I start to panic or proceed as normal?

are they just braided steel over a rubber hose? or do SS braided cables have something else in them?

I figured it was just the braid, but thought I'd check anyway.
