Somebody here works at Subaru right?

Beater or not, I don't know about you guys but I spend a LARGE part of my day driving my car. So I think it makes sense to have something that, although its just meant to get me from A to B comfortably, is also something that is a bit appealing.

Actually, I have just the car for you! It's a '93 Volvo 940 Turbo wagon. When can you pick it up?
Seriously, have you considered these? Honda Prelude, Mazda RX-7, Lexus ES300, BMW 3-series, Acura Integra
Prelude: I like the newest model best. The mid-90's had the ugliest dash known to man. The newest model, however, comes in at a pretty penny I don't feel like spending.
Mazda Rx7: I need space, and reliability...henceforth...I can't drive a bomb.
Lexus ES300: I considered some of the Mid-90 Lexii, however I don't know if it'll net anything above 20mpg. Perhaps?
Acura Integra: Ha, I currently drive one. They've always been my beater car. Great car for practicality. I am considering a 4-door 94+ model, however they always show up in GREEN (ugh) with a tan dash...MEH.

Exactly. I wasn't proud of that color at all. It was nice but not a sports car color.
But hey, someone bought it, so kiss my ***.

I can't consider myself a Lexus expert (Lexpert?) but since it's not much more than a rebadged Camry, I'm sure the V-6 could deliver highway mpg well up into the 20's, hopefully near 28mpg?

Yea I was noticing that. There is a Camry V6 with leather for sale literally a mile down the road from me. Guy can't seem to sell it. It's mint and is for sale for $3500. It's not far off from the Lexus with that package.

A friend of mine bought a '92 for pocket change a few years ago. It's been flawless.
