Actually it depends on what state you choose to live in. In the commie stronghold of NJ, (I'm born and raised there, BTW) what you say is true. However... In the Commonweath of Virginia, any respectable citizen has the right to apply for a concealed carry permit. A baseball bat under the seat would be assumed to be used for, get this, baseball. I regularly carry a 4" Cold Steel clip knife. No cop in Virginia is going to hassle you for a pocket knife, unless you're being an ass. Now, the mace is a bit shall we say, Medieval, and they might figure you for a lunatic. Well the only thing we can carry in NJ is a pocket knife that can fit lengthwise from the tip of your finger to the edge of your wrist. i have big hands so i can carry a decent knife, they still confiscate them unless you know your laws. kevin. |
