I'm just curious what types of Carbon Fiber products you guys have chosen for your cars, like hoods, skirts, trim etc. Where you bought them from, if you ran into any problems, if it was hard to install, that sort.

Well, he'd like a shield to protect his rear bumper from melting because that exhaust is really hot. You can get that from RotaryExtreme, there's a link at the top of the page.

As far as hoods go, Pete would like something subtle I think, nothing wild.

Here it is:

you know thats exactly what i was going to get him for his birthday, but instead i got him the boots and the short shifter. LOL. i went with his "birthday list"

I was asking just general CF questions for all generations though.

however, all 3rd gen info will be carefully noted for potential future purchases

Well, I've got my Cusco rear strut that's made from CF. Then we ordered a CF hatch made by ViS from prostreetonline.com, but a shipping mishap cracked the hell out of it. They're being real nice and filing a claim with the shipping company for our replacement. Strut was $230 and hatch was $7XX. (I believe.)

Just don't paint it is all I know. It looks pretty bad in the end from what I have seen.

I like the look of cf, but the bonnets look terrible IMO. Especially when it's not real fibreglass like 95% of parts out there.
