Was that a second property or your primary residence? Renting now? Real estate moves like cheap pizza cheese in a 80' year olds lower bowel currently..

Is this a permanently moored boat, or do you move around at your leisure?..

I think I would tire of that existance after awhile.

And when you say huge hit, how huge is it?.. Real estate here has levelled off, but now may be time to buy a retirement castle south of the border, but I think prices may still be on a downward trajectory there.

Something in Texas or Phoenix would suit me just fine.

Congrats! Did you sell to your renters? Use a realtor?

I'm trying to get Edna on the live-on-a-boat lifestyle, every time I see something like shots of Greece on the travel channel, I say "hey, we would be able to just sail there ourselves, and stay as long as we'd like! And no ******* property taxes!" I don't think she's sold on it yet.
