Well, the motor in my FC is gone, a rebuild is in order.. my dillema here is that i only have about 2k to work with right now, and for what i want, ill need about 3500, to get my car in top shape. If i can sell my BBS wheels then ill be set for the rebuild. But my question is... should i buy a daily driver with some of the cash i have for the rebuild, and save up the rest for a rebuild.. OR, just rebuild the bitch and hope it dont give me problems, and get a daily driver a little more down the road?

So yeah, im not really sure what to do...

i want my fc back on the road damnit

Yeah, tell Rotary Resurrection your problems. Don't go to a big rotary shop.

first off i want to praise you on sticking to your car through the expected problems you've had to deal with. compared to others, you have seemed to have a more energetic attitude about tackling your problems, and have the cash on hand to find the solution the right way. with that said, i think you should scoop up a nice dd and then deal with the t2 on the side, in my opinion it will making working on it less stressful and might actually be fun. i think many people make this mistake these days. but whatever floats your boat, good luck

Well, reason I was asking was if he is going with a near stock setup, then just rebuild it and keep it as your daily. IF you're modding it substantially, then get a second car and drive it while the 7 is down...and save up more money to do the job right.

well, i dont plan on modding the car anymore than it already is, other than some reliability mods. As of now, the car has a slight upgrade on the turbo, full exhuast, gforce ecu, intake, bov, boost controller, walbro 255 fuel pump, fpr. I had a greddy vspec fmic, but its sold now to help pay for the rebuild. Only other upgrades i planned on doing were the fmic, better fuel system, and better cooling, and some cosmetic upgrades. Eventually, i will go out and get me a daily driver, but i dunno if i should do it now, or just wait.
