you guys can't understand the seriousness of his situation
He's young 22 maybe?? Great looking guy, built well, this guy could have any girl he wanted anytime, seriously ask jim. Great heart, if I were in a jam I know he'd go out of his way to help me out. I asked him last week if I bought a car would he follow me to pick it up, he said "no problem man, you don't even have to ask" half of my problem is he's messed up bad, and I can't help him, like he would help me.
I'm so sad right now, im about in tears

We were in the bank the other day and said something to this cute teller that works there that he broke up with his girlfriend. She lit up like she got a present and she has a boyfriend!!
He will be fine I know it.

I hope he heals well, and gets back to normal, but maybe with a little more sense.
I live in Florida, and I drive a bike. I wear a full helmet, an armored jacket, and armored gloves. I wear this year-round, except above ~95*. I take a risk every time I get on the bike. I learned in a safety rider course, and have built my riding skill around this idea: there will always be risk, no matter what you do. But it is up to you to do what you can to minimize that risk.

Yeah, there are particular roads that are worse than others. 98% of the time it's someone switching lanes without looking back, and I'm there. I just keep my wits about me, and never zone out.
And please don't lecture me (this isn't directed at anyone in particular). I'm aware of the risk, and I've been lecured by many-a-folk, by bike riders and people who've never even sat on one. I just don't feel like getting into a stupid debate.

I've always compared crotch rockets to a gun. Pefectly safe as long as you respect it. The second you don't, your a dead man.
let's just compare it to a carnival ride. except your going horizontal not down. It's confusing because it's extremely dangerous but your head just doesn't observe the danger anymore, it's too overwhelmed by the sudden change in inertia.
i'm glad he made it out alive, my friend wasn't so lucky.....that's why wearing a helmet makes a difference...oh and just to let everyone know that past a rate of 10mph you can no longer control your head while falling, that why low speed wreaks can be just as fatal.

also I was wondering if you crash on a bike is it better to hold on to it if you can or to let go? it seems that they tend to slide on their side so if you held on you would not go bouncing down the road and if you have proper equipment like armored suit the side you would be sliding on woudnt take damage really. Thats just what it seems to me but I never crashed a bike so I dont know. I am adicted to the speed though, lol, a good thing my friend crashed his bike fofore I coud ^^
so is it better to hang on or to let go?
