John is Okay

But he is banged up pretty bad, He wrecked a crotch rocket late last night at a pretty high rate of speed. He's road rashed up pretty good and has some stiches in his knee. He was wearing his helmet correctley and that saved his life. Evidently the helment was bashed up pretty good.

He beeped anthony at about 1 am this morning (laura was driving him home from the hospital) ,and I was over anthony's drinking some beer that's when I found out. I stopped by work and left a note for scott and isaac so he won't wait for him. You know about all that I know right now, except for a couple details about how it happened. If if you want to know beep me, or him later on, I'm sure he's going to be sleeping in.

He didnt' say if he knew when he'd be able to work again. I'm thinkin he'll be back like thursdayish. I'd have to see him in person to know for sure.

crazy bastard

This is one of the guys that works for me. He is my 1st employye that I hired in 1997. He lost it doing 90MPH on his friends croth rocket his injuries are stiches in his leg and a lot of road rash. He is lucky to be alive.

BTW - Mazdadrifter works there too. duh.

ouch, I wouldn't want to drop a bike going that fast...hell I wouldn't want to drop one at all. 15mph wreck can be just as deadly as a 90mph one

This guy drives me nuts. He is a great guy but takes really stupid risks.

How about 3 weeks ago he was doing flips off of a bridge at night most likely drunk and he misjudged the distance to the water and face planted. He knocked himself out and was drowning his friends had to jump in and pull him out.

He goes to punk concerts (like Dropkick Murphys) and comes into work all jacked up from fighting in the pit with skinheads.

He is nucking futs!!

BTW - how funny is it that Mazdadrifter thought to PM me on here to get in touch with me. Friday evening I turn off my cell phone and usually dont turn ot on all weekend until Monday morning. MY home phone is unlisted and I dont give it out to anyone.

I keep my cell phone off because clients will call all weekend long with emergencies due to lack of their own planning.

that boy has nine lives. I was going to stop and see him today but he was sleeping all day. Last night his girlfriends said that he looked like a mummy.

I told him thursday to respect the bike (he told me he was going to ride it) because every time I put my r6 up I was happy to still be breathing. Those things are so fast you feel euphoric and/or invinsible. It just doesn't seem real.

What sucks now, is that I don't think he has any medical insurance (does he jim?) and had to go to the emergency room w/ stiches and misc. other things (he said they had to scrape gravel out of his leg w/ a wire brush. ) And he just bought a car.

I'll probably go see him tomorrow.

jim don't forget f1 is tomorrow
