oh that sucks taht you have to pay for it, it's free in NJ, but what martin ment is that it cost 60 dollars to pass illegally, maybe shane just didnt understand that ? I dunno whatevearzz

 

i thought the original post was saying that an inspection costs $60 and he knew somebody so he got hooked up.



where i live inspections cost $12.50, they just check the lights and brakes and normal stuff, no emissions, no dyno. while i was in houston with my gf last year she needed an inspection so we got one there and they did the dyno emissions and all that stuff and it was about $65. i was just saying that im happy that they dont check all that stuff here, which makes inspections cost 12.50

 

yea in NJ theres no charge to get inspection, but if you know your car wont pass like martin does, some places will illegally hook you up with a sticker for around 60 dollars.

We don't have inspections in OK anymore, I think they raised the tag prices instead.

 

in ny they have a database that keeps track of obd2 ecu's.
