I had a friend who they told would go Airborne after bootcamp.....hes in Iraq now

He never made airborne

did they tell him? or did they sign taht to his contract... i have all my ship dates in my contract written out and signed

so unless there is a draft i continue onto my training properly

as long as it is in your contract, you will be good to go, I have a lot of respect for the Airborne people over here, you can always tell the 82nd, they are the ones with no doors on the humvees, and skids to stand on welded on the sides, they have almost as much extra crap on their trucks as I do, which reminds me, it has been raining for two days straight here, thank god I go on leave in a week, as long as they don't cancel it, damn indecisive army.
