Yeah it will be over by the CAS somewhere. We were thinking of fliping it around so it faced the engine, but I don't know if alternators work if they spin backwards or not. Never tried it before. I don't know why it wouldn't work. The manifold would be pretty expensive in this application. For a regular FD or FC it would be less and we could reproduce what we are doing on the RX-8. Not sure on a price though. I would guess somewhere around $3000 with the twin TB's and the plenum like it is.

Kevin, I don't know what the price is on an FE BIW, but mazda also sells an FC BIW which retails for either 7 or ten grand, I can't remember which.

Yeah they don't have VIN numbers on them...but when you get used doors from a registered car, there is a VIN number sticker on it



Some more sex shots from last night... I finished making and welding in the fuel cell mounts while John continued on the intake manifold. Manifold should be finished today.
