where in tx is this event, theres a few of us that go to houston often for dailydrifer.com event and rent out a spot in mineral wells for practice and drag / auto x

June 9th



Mainstream Productions in association with Drift Association presents the Falken Tire Drift Showoff at the Gulf Greyhound Park in Houston, TX. This event is designed to showcase the sport of drifting to fans across the US and take the sports compact generation to the next level.



DRIFT SHOWOFF

This event will cater to intermediate and advanced drivers who have basic knowledge of car control/drifting and want to advance their drifting techniques and get the necessary seat time to be competitive.



Drivers will showoff their skills as they drift sideways sliding through corners at high speeds as they compete for trophies, cash prizes, and other goodies. They will also get a chance to get a ride-along with a Team Falken Professional Driver through the course.



AWARDS

1st place - $500 - 6ft Trophy - Set of Falken Azenis Tires

2nd place - $250 - Trophy - Prizes

3rd place - Trophy - Consolation Prize



PRO-AM DRIFTING CHAMPIONSHIP

Each 2007 DRIFT SHOWOFF competition will award drivers' points based on qualifying positions. Top drivers in the series will be invited to compete at the Pro-Am Drifting Championship.

Hey, you'd be suprised how hard it is to find a good plate to eat at the track. IMO, it looked stupid without a wing. I tried the MS wing that they sent us, but it looked like an Audi TT or a Miata rear. Besides, we are going to need all the rear downforce we can get to try to stick these tires to the ground
