next time you're at the shop you get to check out the ports in the motor. (no pics of those though, sorry) the only thing we need to get the car on the track for some testing is that package jon.

nick, i am no where near being the other half of the team, my FD is just a fun lil street car i built to cruise arround in, my plans for that car are to run a 10.8 sec quarter mile time, then retire it from racing. that should happen VERY soon. once my FD is retired i will be building a street class TII race car over the winter to compete with Ari and those guys. the other car in joes team is a 3/4 chassis toyota starlet thats running a perif ported REW motor with lots of N2O. the car pictured here will be running a half bridged REW motor with boost

we're trying to have a car competing in every nhra class except pro for the 2004 season.

is FD3Boost (dave) building a drag car that i havent heard about??
Roan, let me know if you guys need any help at the track. I have never been to a pro-level drag event. Its the only form of motorsports i havent been involved with

Fd3Boost's car cost more than that car, therefore it is better LOL

i love daves car, and think its one of the prettiest FD's i know, but do you have any idea (i know you do) what it costs to build a competitive outlaw class race car? from chassis work to race tranny, to rear end, to, to, to.............

this car is being built on a budget and mostly all of the work is being done in house (even paint) but its still very costly

Rob, the paint place was closed, but we finished painting the car last night (we didnt want to wait another day) we just covered up the spots where the yellow was thin with more green. we had already painted the engine bay on friday and we intended to do the green swirls on the inside too, but when the yellow ran out, we thought we would need too much green to cover, but we didnt. everything worked out.

thanx for your help yesterday though!!!

last time I used ChromaBase was on a 2001 38" Outerlimits, it came

from the factory with chromabase, I had to repair the side of it which had graphics on it, ******* basecoat yellow took like 7 coats to cover.
