since when can telemarketers (i suck at spelling) call cell phone's?!? i've got three in the last hour.. anyone else had any and know how to get em to stop? nearly gave myself a concusion the first time i got a call cause i was under the car

Either you filled out something with that number by mistake or someone is playing a joke on you by giving them your number.

But to get rid of them simply tell them to take your name off whatever list they have the next time they call, then just hope they actually listen.

it was an automatied call otherwise i woulda been bitchin at em.. i read a while back about some kind of no call list for cell phone's but didnt think marketers were allowed to call cell phones yet

yea a while ago they allowed them to call cell phones. because so many people use them as home phones these days.

Same thing happened to me about 2 months ago/They called every ******* day And i called my cell phone company to block calls w/no caller id or blocked calls and they told me........(Just tell them this is your cell phone number) and they will stop calling you IT IS NOT LEGAL for Telemarketers TO CALL CELL PHONES!!! And I did They Never called again

yea the whole thing about solicitors being allowed to call cell phones is all a rumor. in fact the gov't released a campaign to get cell phone users to stop signing their cell phones onto the do not call lists because it was overloading things (the original intention of the rumor was to overload the do not call list and make it ineffective)



So if they call tell them its a cellphone, and as a safety factor dont ever use your cell phone on any form of paper form or online form.

The National Do Not Call Registry gives you a choice about whether to receive telemarketing calls at home. Most telemarketers should not call your number once it has been on the registry for 31 days. If they do, you can file a complaint at this Website. You can register your home or mobile phone for free. Your registration will be effective for five years.
