Good deal. I converted my dad ('04 Protege) and my ex-girlfriend ('86 RX-7 Sport - B'day gift) to Mazda ownership...and maybe a few others. My cousin (rotarychainsaw) got a 7 after driving mine, so maybe I can claim that one too.
EDIT: I should note that Kelly liked RX-7s before I even met her, but she wouldn't own one right now if it weren't for me.

Yes. Disappointing is the key word. Ill take my regular miata, and throw on a turbo kit with the money I saved, and have tons more power and drivability. The mazdaspeed miata is laggy, underpowered, and over-geared. Youre over halfway through 3rd gear when you hit 60. Into 5th gear then you finish the 1/4 mile, at just over 90 mph.
