WTF could be causing an 85 GSL to not fire? The battery is strong and cranks the motor like a champ, but when i pulled the fuel line back at the tank, there was no pressure, even though there was a few gallons in the tank. There was fuel in the filter, but I can't hear the pump going. Could it be the FP relay? If so, where the hell is it in an FB? Also, after a quick and hurried look inside the car (not mine), where the hell is the fuse panel?

Fuse panel is near the clutch pedal...to the left of it.

Pull the drivers side storage bin out and you should see the fuel pump wiring (only 2 wires). Disconnect it and turn the key on and test the wires to see if your getting 12v.

is there a way of seeing if the FP relay is bad when you pull it? here's the issue: car cranks but wont fire. i pulled the fuel filter back by the tank and there was no pressure in the lines. there is at least a couple of gallons in the tank. I can't hear the pump running with the key in, but i dont remember how loud FB pumps are.

relay is simple. its a 4 pin NO relay. if you put power and ground across the 2 pins that have continuity, it should click and then have continuity thru the other 2 pins

find a power wire, and a ground. or just jumper the 2 wires, its not the relay. the $30 ford relays go bad, but the $150 japanese relays last damn near forever
