Damn, now if i come down and go fishing with you I have to wear a bullet proof vest. I thought the ocean was the only place I was safe.

A couple friends and I took a charter out of Biloxi back in June of '02. My friend hooked one and I hooked one. Both resulted in broken lines, of course, but I remember that we actually saw mine. I remember the captain called them "Buick hoods" and assured us we weren't likely to get one near the boat. We didn't know they could kill us.

I've never heard of anyone hooking a stingray, must have been an interesting fight.
