your missing my whole point, torque is relative to displacement, not the size or weight of the actual engine. right?
and displacement is more or less relative to the size and weight of the engine.

Now see they had a competent discrepancy. That's how common disagreements should be handled!

wouldn't you want torque high in the powerband like a rotary so you can press the gas peddle in a corner and not have to worry about roasting the tires? from a racing standpoint i believe high rpm torque peak would be advantageous, but for highway driving low-end torque would be more desirable so you wouldn't have to downshift to pass. i guess it all depends on what your needs and wants are, i've driven an s2000 and i loved it. rode in a g35, felt kinda sluggish in the turns.

my vote goes to s2000, i also love hondas so maybe a little biased.

what the heck does "sluggish" feel like ? g35 just understears too much...mainly on corner exit...

S2000 all the way. I've been in both and though the G35 does have its fair share of torque, the s2000 gets the award for being the better sports car. Its a blast to drive especially in the higher rpm's where as the G35 hits the rev-limiter very early. Plus the s2000 is a convertible.

Gotta love the vert.
