I keep getting "solicited" by a local racing "team" to put their banner on as "protection" since some of their members ALSO jack cars, leaving alone those who run the banner...what's this world coming to?

car mafia

Someone would have to go to alot of trouble to get my car out of the garage!

hence the reason I dont drive my car everyday or to malls and what not- whats the point.

I can actually get my car out in 2 seconds, only have to remove the misc. junk that always forms under the rear of it.

I just moved it Saturday to get the snowblower to the front of the garage and the mower to the rear, PLENTY of room now, lol

its the gate and all the other cars in the driveway that is the theft detterent

I think it's because FCs are easy to steal and there are a lot of bolt on parts that are worth money that can be generic. IE safc, avcrs, aftermarket turbos, intercoolers, etc. And the cars are easy to steel compared to the new civics and accords with encypted keys. My car only stays in my garage and to my work, which has 24 hour video survailiance (SP?) for the parking lot.

I plan on having a few fail safes in place that will not allow the car to be started...I like the wolf passwork system. I wish some more standalone systems used it.

I have a fuel kill switch and am working on getting a battery kill switch.. my system is fairly well hidden in the car, too, so even if they tried to steal it, it wouldnt start. They'd have to diagnose why the car wont start, and trust me, if anyone tried to steal my car, half of Tulsa could hear it...
